Dear Mr. Pettis,
I am writing to thank you for
your recent support of the Haverhill High School Model United
Nations New York trip. Thanks to your generosity, eleven students
had the chance to experience how real-world problems are handled
in a real-world format. They also had the chance to meet students
from all over the country and all over the world, a unique opportunity
to expand their world views. This is the kind of experience you
cannot get in the classroom, and one that would not have been
possible without your thoughtful support.
I want you to know exactly how
important this experience was to the students. Enclosed you will
find some letters from the students, describing the trip and
what it meant to them.
