John Pettis, Jr. reminded the Club about our Annual Street Collection
on Saturday, June 4, 2005. PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDARS AND PARTICIPATE.
We need all Club Members to make this event successful. VP Linda
Lynch and IPP Jane Sweeney volunteered to be Co-Chairpersons
for the event.

John Pettis, Jr. reminded all Members that the Club is accepting
nominations for next year's officers at the May 3, 2005 regular
meeting. He has asked that all Past Presidents consider "stepping-up-to-plate"
in either an officer's or director's leadership role for next

- IPP Jane Sweeney gave a update
on the "A Night Of Laughs Comedy Night" that was held
on April 8, 2005 at Pat's Beef House, Haverhill, at 7:00 pm and
9:00 pm. Both shows were filled to capacity and all who attended
had a wonderful time. All donations are still being received
and processed. Thank You For Your Support!

John Pettis, Jr. reminded the Club that we will be coordinating
with the City of Haverhill's service clubs to repair the current
Haverhill "Welcome Signs". Haverhill Lions President/PDG
John Pettis, Jr. indicated that the $400.00 as requested of each
service club has been paid. Director Eric Powell is Chairperson
for the event. The sign repair day will take place in early May
2005. More details to follow.
- Director Eric Powell reminded
the Club about Haverhill's Rebuilding Together - Christmas in
April event on Saturday, April 30, 2005. Lion Eric will coordinate
the Club's efforts if the Club wishes to participate.
