    • Woburn Middlesex Lion Elaine Lloyd's Top Ten List Of Why PDG John Pettis, Jr. May Be A Better President In 2004-2005 Than 1982-1983.
      • 10. Less time to spend grooming his long hair and beard.
        9. Snakeskin boots are broken in now so he can smile more.
        8. Less time spent watching The Dukes of Hazard & Dallas on TV.
        7. Workouts paid off in developing a powerful handshake.
        6. Not spending time autographing pictures of The Surrogate Mothers - John, Tony Pecci, Danny Hickey & Tom Palmaccio in their shorts, knee highs, work boots, t-shirts filled out with balloon bosoms.
        5. Less time practicing how to walk gracefully in a grass skirt while keeping coconut bra where it's supposed to be.
        4. 22 years of experience partying at Mid-Winters, State & International Conventions.
        3. Less time spent planning a Bikers' Ball and turning the District Lions into Helen's Angels, some Hell's Angels and a few Hell Raisers.
        2. Shorter hair makes him a better listener so he can hear new jokes.
        1. And the No. 1 reason John may make a better President in 2004 than 1982 is: This time PDG/President John will have Lion Betty to share this wonderful Lionistic experience!
